A hello to the BLNT World
As you can tell by the username, yes, I am a fan of the Michigan Wolverines. No, I did not attend the school, as I did not need to spend 65k a year on an education to justify my fandom at a small age. Now that is out of the way… I would like to believe that is where my fandom for anything started. The earliest I can remember, I was sliding through my backyard fence to go to my cousin’s apartment to watch Anthony “A-Train” Thomas lay waste to defenders. From there, he was drafted by the Chicago Bears and that really drove me more towards the NFL… and everyday of my life I wish I chose another team than the lowly Chicago Bears.
We have plenty of time to get into the Bears, but to wrap it all up on my fandom’s: THE Michigan Wolverines (Jim Harbaugh retired Nick Saban @Cakes), Chicago Bears, Chicago White Sox (like really?????), Chicago Bulls (Jerry Reinsdorf owns me), and the Blackhawks (I guess?). With being a fan of such horrible franchises in Chicago, most of my life has been spent cheering for players/coaches that I enjoy/feel attached to (see Jim Harbaugh, Josh Allen, etc). I will get into all of my odd fandoms over time, as well as my passionate opinions on the measly franchises I root for. Other than Michigan, they have a few years of mediocrity until I get start taking shots at them (Bryce Underwood!!!).

Anyways, I hope that made at least some sense and my life really does revolve around sports (@Buddha bump), and it is my passion without a doubt. I can say the same about this great group of friends, we are taking the daily group chat banter to the blog world, and let’s see what happens. Take this is a place of a lifelong Chicago sports fans venting the frustration of watching trash year after year, filled with some gambling picks, and maybe some other weird stuff along the way.
Let’s start on the right note in CBB: USC Trojans -2.5 at home against the Iowa Hawkeyes, sorry @KingYabo
