Night 2 is underw- and OH MY! TIGER WITH THE HAMMER! Pause. … Pause again. Is this a virtual golf league or one of his infamous Vegas benders? Sup, Rachel Uchitel?
Anyway, a hot start for Mr. Woods and Jupiter Golf Links (Tiger, Max Homa, and the People’s Golfer, Kevin Kisner). And when I say hot start, I don’t necessarily mean the golf. This team …. might suck. Vibes? 10/10. Play? Not great, Bob!
Maybe I spoke too soon. Are these PGA Tour players or the buddies I play with on the weekends? I’ve seen more water balls here than 4th of July weekend at Arlington Lakes.
Los Angeles Golf Club (Collin Morikawa, Justin Rose, and Sahith Theegala), also my new favorite team – check out this link below if you want to take the quiz to find yours, jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead and never let go. This, just like Week 1, was rather uncompetitive. And I’ll be honest, it has absolutely taken away from the product. They’re already asking people to tune into virtual golf. You can’t expect people to tune in to uncompetitive virtual golf. People’s lives aren’t THAT miserable.

Can we also touch on the hammer again? Last week, I was still trying to wrap my head around it. 7 days later and I promise you …. it ain’t rocket science. And the strategy has been awful from these guys. Use your brains, you robots! And I hate playing Monday Morning Quarterback (s/o Albert Breer), but c’mon…. This is brutal!
Annnnnnnd just like last week, it’s 7-1 in favor of LAGC, the match is over, but we keep playing. Last week it was 86 minutes in. This week – 82 minutes. No, 8-1, actually. Even worse. What a hammer!
OK, can we have an honest chat? Does this stink? I think it may stink. Just lacking … something. Maybe a lot of things. If you have trouble sleeping, and melatonin is out of the budget, I may have the solution for you.
I’ll see everyone next week for Night 3. Potentially. Give us a competitive match and let’s dance!
