Let me start with, I cannot believe that I had to watch Ohio State win the CFP last night. A year after the peak of my Michigan fandom, and they come in and ruin it all. I will still, in face of the haters, remain that Ryan Day is a very overrated coach, but bringing the team off the mat after the loss @ home to Michigan was impressive. Now… it’s #BryceUnderwoodSZN. Also, would like to S/O @KingYabo as he mentioned in our group chat, as I would also like to reserve Caleb Downs to the Bears, if that is possible. What a ball player.
In better news:
The Chicago Bears really shocked me and did the right thing for once. I will forever be a Kevin Warren hater because of how he treated Jim Harbaugh and his influence on the Bears not taking a look to hire him last year, but he really got the McCaskey’s to pay up.
The Bears did the right thing but they need to invest more into coaching, the one place you can gain a significant advantage without there being a salary cap. I understand the “leader of men” concern with Ben Johnson, but do you know what fixes leadership issues? Winning. Offense is the fastest track to winning and Ben Johnson has a play calling resume that Sean McVay and Kyle Shanahan did not have when they got hired. Very excited time (for now) to be Chicago Bears fan.
